New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Scholarships
The eighth annual New Horizons Computer Learning Centers scholarship application is now available. The scholarships will provide 11th grade students with the opportunity to enroll in a week long summer course, designed to give them hands-on experience in computer troubleshooting and repair. The criteria for submission includes:

• Eleventh grade students who exhibit excellence in the study of technology are eligible to receive scholarships.
• Student must be nominated by a teacher or administrator.
• Submissions are due at Instructional Technology by May 16, 2008.
• Send the applications by email (vmayland@dadeschools.net ) or fax (305-995-7610).

Learning Village
Miami-Dade County Public Schools announces the availability of lesson plans for the first quarter of the 2007-2008 school year in the Learning Village.
